From Commercial Painter to Family Business
Owner and Founder Carlos Picon started painting when he was 18 years old. After spending 20 years painting for other companies, including traveling as a commercial painter for big box retail stores like Home Depot, he decided it was time to start his own business.
So in April 2017, he teamed up with his brother to start Do It All Painting, bringing his extensive industry knowledge directly to customers of his own.
At first, Carlos and his two brothers did all the work themselves, but because they did such quality work, he was soon hiring more staff because of the demand for their services. Continued growth and a desire to expand led to Aldo Colorado joining as a partner in 2023.
Now the team is flourishing with 15 residential and commercial painters (including the three original Picon brothers), two offices, and multiple work crews serving customers through the Grand Rapids area.

Carlos started Do It All in 2017 after two decades of working as a commercial painter. He knows everything there is to know about painting processes, surfaces, materials, and the industry as a whole — and enjoys bringing that expertise to every customer and project.
Co-Owner & Managing Partner
Aldo became part owner in 2023 after working in the business for two years. He brings a business and banking background to support the company’s administrative and communication needs. He loves meeting new people and bragging on his amazing team.

We’ll build out a full proposal with a detailed scope of work and upfront pricing.
We typically schedule about two weeks out, though capacity can vary from season to season. We work together with your other contractors to complete work according to project needs.
Before the work begins, we’ll walk through all of your color options, determine sheen and finish, designate locations for each selection, and order all supplies and materials.
Now we get to put all of our planning into action. This is the fun part where all of our careful preparation starts to be seen and enjoyed.
We’re always touching base with you along the way to keep communication open and address problems immediately. Communication is very important to us.
When the work is complete, we’ll inspect the property with the foreman and customer to ensure the quality and excellence we’re known for.
